NEW YORK — Putting dance music on notice that a major female producer has arrived, former Wicked Pictures contract star and sexy “Miss XFANZ Summer,” Lupe Fuentes, has announced that her first solo musical release, “So High,” has met major critical acclaim and airplay on BBC Radio 1 and Sirius XM.
Now Lupe is set to follow up her initial success with three releases on three of house music’s top labels.
First up is the release on June 24 of “Don’t Hold Back” on Spain’s Undercool Productions label, set to be a Traxsource exclusive, with a worldwide release date of July 22. Next, on July 15, New York’s legendary Nervous Records will debut Lupe’s Ibiza anthem, “Wepa,” featuring Bobo of Cypress Hill on percussion.
Finally, Lupe is teaming up with Legendary House DJ/ Producer Todd Terry’s label, In House Records, to release her single, “Drop the Beat” on July 21.
Lupe will appear with Oscar G. on June 14, at Pacha, 618 West 46th Street, in New York City.
