Adult Star Layton Benton Speaks Out on Fox News

NEW YORK —  Layton Benton announced that she visited the Fox 411 news studio in New York City last week, to discuss how her Chase Bank account was shut down without warning or explanation.

The black porn star said she is certain her work in the adult entertainment industry had a lot to do with it. “Honestly I do," Benton told Fox 411 correspondent Diana Falzone, when asked if she felt her profession was the reason for the account closure.

She added, "I feel they have some kind of discrimination. You would think, as a bank, they would love the fact that people are putting so much money into their accounts… [it’s] a sign that they’re not going under. So I really do feel like it has to do with me being in the adult industry, and somehow they found out.”

A video of the interview can be seen here.

Benton noted that she has been tabloid news the last two weeks, when the Chase story broke on TMZ. The news has since been picked up on several other media outlets, including CNBC, The Huffington Post, The Daily Mail, and Page Six of the New York Post.
