BATH, England — U.K. online adult retailer Lovehoney is nominated for the Customer Award and is up against household names ASOS, John Lewis and Ocado.
According to the company, it’s the only one in its category to offer 24-hour customer service and a 365-day returns policy in the U.K., as well as the only business that accepts and carries out customer calls in the Welsh language.
Lovehoney co-founder Neal Slateford said, "We're delighted to be recognized as real players in the online retail world, especially amongst such influential peers. To be nominated once is fantastic, to win is extraordinary... but to be invited back and nominated for a second year running is something we really couldn't have anticipated. It's hugely exciting for us."
After appearing in its own six-part documentary, “Frisky Business,” Lovehoney says it has received a significant amount of interest, adding to the plethora of coverage gained over the course of 2014 for its noteworthy licensed collections, Fifty Shades of Grey and the Bettie Page collection.
The company said it also will soon expand its Fifty Shades of Grey collections, for which they own the exclusive worldwide rights.
All nominated companies are also up for the overall Internet Retailing Award, which Lovehoney won in 2013.
The awards take place on June 26 at One Mayfair in London. To vote for Lovehoney, click here.
