HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Film star Samuel L. Jackson is making some porn stars “furious,” so to speak, after admitting that he likes RedTube for its free porn during a press conference for the new "Captain America" movie.
Blasting Jackson — who plays Nick Fury — for his endorsement of the pirate site were Catalina Cruz and U.K. star Tanya Tate, according to a TMZ report.
The actor cited RedTube as one of the best pop culture achievements in the last 50 years.
Cruz said she wants Jackson’s films boycotted, pointing out that Hollywood constantly battles mainstream film piracy but ignores porn’s similar plight.
And because she produces her own web content, Tate said Jackson’s comment hits home.
Tate told XBIZ that she’s a fan of Jackson’s work but thinks his comment wasn’t cool. After viewing TMZ’s YouTube video with Jackson’s clip, Tate said, "Watching the video, I can't tell if he was attempting to make a joke. But piracy is no joke."
The British star told TMZ, "I would gladly send a catalog of adult movies I have directed to Mr. Jackson if he would be so kind as to recant the comment. I have a stack of porn for him to help him see the error of his ways."
