VAN NUYS, Calif. — Pure Play Media has announced the addition of Trouble Films to its diverse studio lineup, bringing leading queer and feminist indie-produced porn to retailers nationwide.
Helmed by LGBT performer and pornographer Courtney Trouble, Trouble Films brings the eclectic LGBT genre to a stong — and growing — fanbase, with three new titles planned for May release.
One of the first LGBT pornographers to land a major distribution deal, Trouble says she will put unique new riffs on her “Trans Grrrls: Revolution Porn Style Now” and “Lesbian Curves” concepts, as well as tried and true queer porn categories.
"This is a special opportunity for queer and feminist indie-produced porn to get a chance in the spotlight the way it deserves,” Trouble said. “I am so excited to see my films get this kind of attention and I hope the rest of the world loves them as much as my already-obsessed fan base already does. Queer porn has never been given this kind of opportunity to shine before, and I am seriously so proud of my films and my performers and everyone involved."
Trouble Films’ upcoming titles also will feature distinctive narrative adult storytelling and imaginative plotlines straight from Trouble’s mind, Trouble said.
“It's a great time for me to be picked up in this way, [and] it's going to be exceptional,” Trouble added. “I've been waiting a long time to play with the big kid toys, and this is my chance.”
Pure Play Media will house Trouble Films’ full catalog and all future DVD releases.
Trouble Films is available exclusively in the United States through Pure Play Media.
