ATLANTIC CITY, N.J. — BBW star Kelly Shibari has won the BBW Performer of the Year title at the 2014 Fanny Awards for the second year in a row.
The accolade, dubbed “Whole Lotta Love,” was decided upon by fan votes and presented at the Exxxotica expo in Atlantic City, New Jersey on April 12.
“As my fans know, I’m a total social media addict,” Shibari said. “It allows me to interact with my fans on a daily basis, which inspires me to entertain them better with each scene I am hired to do. Fan awards, such as Exxxotica’s Fannys, are a true measure of how my interaction on social media pays off, and I love being able to celebrate this win with them. Thank you, fans, Exxxotica, and The Fannys.”
Shibari noted that she also made Fleshbot’s Top Ten Crush Object List in early 2014 that included performers Bonnie Rotten and Asa Akira, as well as mainstream icons Miley Cyrus, Tina Fey, Emily Ratajkowski and Lizzy Caplan.
Shibari added, “To gain enough votes from my fans, for two years in a row, and to earn BBW Performer of the Year again is really amazing. I am extremely humbled, thrilled, and eager to bring them two brand-new projects this year as my personal ‘thank you,’ and look forward to continuing to connect with everyone online.”
