TEMPE, Ariz. — Without rhyme or reason, US Airways today retweeted the complaint of a woman who had a bad flight along with an accompanying photo of a woman pleasuring herself with a model of a Boeing 777.
US Airways since deleted the tweet, which was up for 22 minutes before it was taken down, according to New York Magazine.
US Airways offered a Twitter apology stating, "We apologize for an inappropriate image recently shared as a link in one of our responses. We've removed the tweet and are investigating."
While Twitter was raging over the apparent mistweet, some users jokingly called the retweet an "inside job" and that the airline found the missing 777, referencing the recently lost Malaysia Airlines jet.
"So blessed that the skilled pilots at @USAirways can safely land a Boeing 777 in virtually any scenario," said one Twitter user.
