MIA Partners With Cherrysauce in Adult Mobile Deal

BRIGHTON, England — Mobile content services provider MIA has teamed with adult mobile content company Cherrysauce in a global technology partnership aimed at giving operators and mobile brands looking to launch mobile adult businesses a single point of contact.

Under the terms of the deal, Cherrysauce will offer up its library of adult images and videos as well as its range of services, which include live video chat, erotic and adult Java applications, Java games, SMS chat and animated downloads.

“Through our partnership with MIA, any company with an existing mobile customer base or mobile marketing capability can completely sidestep the usual pitfalls and learning curve of launching adult services,” Cherrysauce Managing Director Julia Dimambro said. “Instead we allow them to launch totally dynamic and immersive portals utilizing the latest content, technology and billing capabilities available in the market to take full advantage of this lucrative but complicated commercial space.”

MIA will provide clients with its carrier-grade Media Village Platform content management system and develop WAP portals as well as Internet storefronts.

“The partnership provides mobile brands and operators with a simplified and trusted route to market by offering a single point of contact through which an entire mobile portal brand can be created,” Mark Mergler of MIA said. “This not only provides significant economies of scale, but also enables brands to rapidly rollout new services combining Europe’s most exciting adult content with a trusted and robust technology backend.”
