NEW YORK — Eric Danville will be hosting the official book re-release party for his “The Complete Linda Lovelace,” a free event at The Cutting Room in NYC from 6-8 p.m.
The latest and expanded edition of the book — reportedly the only authorized biography of the “Deep Throat" starlet and the original dramatic basis for the 2013 film, “Lovelace” — offers a comprehensive look at Lovelace’s rise to fame in the 70s to her anti-porn activism in the 80s to her return to the adult industry shortly before her death in 2002.
“The recent biopic ‘Lovelace,’ as well as an exhibit at the Museum of Sex with memorabilia from my personal collection, shows that people are interested in the an amazing and distinctly American pop culture story of Linda Lovelace,” Danville said. “I’m excited to expose the real Linda Lovelace to a whole new audience.”
Festivities planned for the night include a short book excerpt reading by Danville, the premiere of “The Linda Lovelace Stag Film Festival” DVD, cocktails and special attendees, including several adult actresses. Copies of “The Complete Linda Lovelace” will also be available for purchase.
During his 25-year career in publishing, Danville served as managing editor for High Times, Masters of Rock, Screw, Penthouse Forum and The Girls of Penthouse.
