BIRMINGHAM —The creators of “The Royal Romp” are now doing a parody of the popular U.K TV show, “Benefits Street.”
Renamed “Benefits Treat,” the five-part adult parody will see its first episode release March 7 on BenefitsTreat.com.
The team is offering a free subscription for all folks from Birmingham, or “Brummies,” as the local production company calls them.
The production house began casting on their website earlier this week and interested parties are asked to apply online with a photo and contact information.
Company owner Laura Macrow said, “We thought this would be an excellent opportunity to help the Birmingham community come together and show the world what us Brummies are really made of.”
