Epoch Names New VP of Sales

MARINA DEL REY, Calif. — Internet payment service provider Epoch Systems has named Harmik Gharapetian Vice President of Sales. An industry veteran, Gharapetian joined Epoch in early 1999.

Gharapetian reports directly to Epoch COO Esther Martinez and CEO Joel Hall.

While at Epoch, Gharapetian worked to ramp up the company’s customer service call center into a 24/7/365 facility with state of the art phone systems, multilingual account reps and a “no waiting” policy where more than 99 percent of inbound calls are answered within 15 seconds.

“Harmik is taking on the new role of overseeing the sales department,” Epoch Communications Director Rand Pate told XBIZ. “He will be much more directly associated with contract flow, client management and acquisition of new accounts, while also watching sales trends of existing clients."

A familiar face at many industry events in recent months, Harmik will now lead the department directly responsible for helping grow Epoch’s business and maintain quality client services, according to Pate, who added, "His years of service with Epoch and his close association with every department in the company make him an excellent choice to lead Epoch into the next area of growth.”

Gharapetian will be meeting current and potential clients this week at the Gay Phoenix Forum and at the Klixxx Island Gathering in Curacao from Oct. 12-16. He can be reached by phone at (888) 627-3888 x.205, or by email at harmik@epochsystems.com.
