CENTURY CITY, Calif. — A relative newcomer to the pleasure products industry, Rapture has captured the XBIZ award for the Best BDSM Company of the year.
The company launched in 2012 and shipped its first product orders just a year ago this month, the company said. Billed as the “serious fetish company,” Rapture’s product lines include a variety of bondage gear in stainless steel and leather.
Andy Ptashnik, Rapture’s managing director, commented on the win: “It’s an honor and an amazing award to receive after only a year in the market. We have a solid manufacturing and sales team that began with a plan to make a difference in the market with harder fetish gear. Thank you XBIZ for recognizing Rapture.”
Noted for its line of bondage gear wrought from solid, polished stainless steel, Rapture also produces and sells a lighter style of bondage gear made from stainless steel and rubber. It markets a unique set of women’s attire that adorns the body with bands of the bright metal and black rubber.
“We are going to do more with product extensions in the coming year, including a larger line of leather products and CBT devices,” Ptashnik added
.According to Rapture, its products are presented in packaging styled to fit the product type and match Rapture’s signature black and silver colors and logo.
