Dr. Sadie Allison Sells 2 Millionth Book, Launches Giveaway

SAN FRANCISCO — To mark the sale of her two millionth book, Tickle Kitty CEO and founder Dr. Sadie Allison announced today that she will be giving away 10,000 of her “how-to sex-help books.”

“On one hand, it's amazing that Tickle Kitty Press has sold two million books, considering they are a small operation,” said Edward Ash-Milby, buyer for Barnes & Noble. “And yet, when you meet Dr. Sadie Allison, you understand quickly what a savvy business person she is and marvel at the execution of her publishing program.

He added, "She has a strong eye for packaging and design, knows her marketplace well and has a sense of fun in her writing. Tickle Kitty Press is a small press success story that I've enjoyed watching evolve over the past decade, and I have no doubt that they will continue to publish great books and produce excellent content for years to come.”

Allison says her passion to help others overcome their shame, fear and lack of knowledge about sex and pleasure led to her start in self-publishing in an unlikely way: by creating sex-help pamphlets and giving them away for free.

“I published my first sex-help book to inspire positive change in peoples’ lives.” Allison said. “My mission is to empower others to embrace their full sexual potential and clear out old inhibitions by providing the accurate information they need for more frequent, more intimate, more uninhibited sexual pleasure.”

For a chance to receive one of Allison’s books free during the Valentine’s Day giveaway, visit www.TickleKitty.com and choose a preferred title on the giveaway page (a nominal shipping and handling fee will apply).

“When we reached the two million books sold milestone, I wanted to give back,” Allison continued. “And by giving away 10,000 books now, I feel like I’ve come full circle. ‘Giving fearlessly’ is a way of life for me, and this free book giveaway is the latest expression of that.”

Allison's titles include “Tickle His Pickle,” “Ride ‘Em Cowgirl!”, “Tickle Your Fancy,” “Tickle My Tush” and “Toygasms!” All were honored with the Independent Publisher’s “Best Sexuality Book” award.

Tickle Kitty Press is currently developing a new series of books, to be released across multiple platforms in 2014.

Allison also runs an online pleasure boutique, TickleKitty.com, which offers high-end adult toys, custom pleasure kits, her signature personal lubricant and more
