Exotic Dancer Invitational Competition Announced

CLEARWATER, Fla. — ED (Exotic Dancer) Publications, producers of the Annual Gentlemen’s Club EXPO, announced today the Annual Exotic Dancer Invitationals contests.

The dance contest will be held twice a year — once in the West (EDI—West) and once in the East (EDI—East) — with the winners of each contest filling two of the four nominee slots for the ED’s “Overall Feature Entertainer of the Year” Award.

The producers said  the contests will be hosed by Spearmint Rhino’s Dames N’ Games club and Christie’s Cabaret in Cleveland. The EDI-West Contest will be held April 10-12, while EDI-East will be held May 29-31.

Both EDI Contests will feature two divisions: the “Showgirl” Division, for entertainers who have been actively touring for more than two years, and the “Newcomer” Division, for entertainers who have only been touring for two years or less. Industry contest emcee Tony Batman of A Entertainment and the Planet Platypus Network will be hosting both EDI events, and veteran pageant and ED/EXPO event coordinator Lexi Lamour will produce the contests.

“We couldn’t be more pleased with our two host clubs, as Spearmint Rhino and Christie’s Cabaret represent two of the top brand names in the multi-billion-dollar adult nightclub industry,” ED Publications’ Associate Publisher Dave Manack, said.

He added, “Our company is going to bring the same standards of professionalism that we bring each year to our Annual EXPO and Awards Show to these Exotic Dancer Invitationals. And, as indicated by the word ‘Invitational,’ we will only be inviting the best of the best to compete for the EDI Contest titles.”

Feature entertainers who feel they have the credentials to compete can call ED Publications at (727) 726-3592 or by emailing dave@edpublications.com.
