‘Miami Vice’ Party at Gay Phoenix Forum

PHOENIX — PrideBucks, Badpuppy and CCBill have joined forces for “Miami Vice,” an 80s retro party at the Gay Phoenix Forum.

The party kicks off at 9 p.m. Oct. 6 at Club Miami, just down the street from the host hotel, and party goers will dance to 80s tunes, enjoy free drinks and tropical hors d'oeuvres, a spokesperson said.

“I never in a million years thought we could top the ‘Rocky Whorer Dickture Show’ at the 2004 Phoenix Forum, but I think this party will do just that,” Badpuppy’s Lisa Turner said. “I cannot tell you just how excited we are. It's a true honor to co-sponsor this party with the great folks at PrideBucks and CCBill.”

Guests are encouraged to wear 80s attire. Admission to the “Miami Vice” party will also give fans access to Amsterdam and the Malibu Beach Club.

“We’re hoping everyone will cut loose that night, have fun throwing themselves back to the 80s and enjoying the Miami spice we’ll be adding to the club,” Rainey Stricklin of PrideBucks said. “We’re encouraging everyone to dress up from the most minimal costume of jeans and Polos to full-on Boy George look-a-likes.”

Attendees can put in requests and dedications at Klixxx.

A Gay Phoenix Forum badge will admit guests to the party.

Transportation will be provided.

Club Miami is located at 718 N. Central Road in Phoenix.
