VALENCIA, Calif. — Girlfriends Films on Monday announced a distribution deal with Bonnie Rotten for her first foray into production and directing.
The deal with Mental Beauty, Inc. includes international DVD, VOD, and broadcast cable distribution. Rotten's production company will release six titles per year from the studio, featuring boy/girl, girl/girl, and kink content with tattooed and un-inked performers.
The 20-year-old performer is one of the youngest in the adult industry to garner a recurring directing contract; it is certainly the case for the Girlfriends Films roster.
“I’m honored to have Girlfriends Films provide me with a platform to direct and produce DVDs,” Rotten said. “My brand of filming is something different for the Girlfriends Films brand, and I’m looking forward to creating some really great projects for them. I’ve already shot my first scene for the debut release, and it’s very, very cool. My fans are going to love it!”
Rotten’s first title from the collaboration, a "young-girl violation" release, is slated for April.
“My style is ‘creepy cinematic,'” Rotten said. “It’s a little kink, a little Andrew Blake. The scenes will take things out of the bedroom and are super edgy, but with a real cinematic feel to them. I’m very happy with how things are going on set, and how the scenes are shaping up on the screen. I am definitely looking forward to unleashing it in April!”
Girlfriends Films' president Moose remarked, “At an impressively young age, Bonnie has made a mark for herself as an in-demand performer. Already her fans love what she’s done for Girlfriends Films, and it’s a true pleasure to work alongside her to bring strong, boundary-pushing releases for those who like their porn on the kinkier side. We’re happy to welcome her to the Girlfriends Films family, and we’re sure her fans will find her projects exactly like her – sexy, edgy, explosive, and very addictive.”
Rotten recently appeared in the Skow for Girlfriends Films project “Sexually Explicit." To view the box art and hardcore trailer for “Sexually Explicit,” click here.
She is nominated for XBIZ Female Performer of the Year for the 2014 XBIZ Awards on Jan. 24, among other honors.
