LOS ANGELES — MunkeyBarz has announced its "Munkey Madness" sale, new products, websites, and its 2014 promotional tour.
The company said that for the month of January, all three colors and sizes of its classic belt would be for sale on Amazon.com for $60 to the first 2,014 new customers.
In addition, MunkeyBarz is launching multiple new products, and has scheduled its "Go Bananas" tour scheduled for early spring targeting three of the country's largest annual events.
Also in January, the company will be launching four new websites including a MunkeyBarz LGBT site, a mainstream couples site, a custom Brazzers/MunkeyBarz site to facilitate Brazzers affiliate traffic, and a MunkeyBarz fetish site.
To facilitate the LGBT developments, the company is assembling a new team and said it will be very active this summer at various LGBT/Pride events around the country.
MunkeyBarz added that it will be discontinuing U.S. distribution of the original MunkeyBarz belt, beefing up their sales team and focusing more on selling direct in 2014.The company currently has a team in Europe and plans to aggressively build on it in the New Year with European distribution.The new MunkeyBarz fetish belt will now be available to U.S. distributors in place of the discontinued classic belt.
New products for 2014 include: an eight-piece fetish kit; a UV glow line of "Munkies" high heels; MunkeyBarz booty shorts and tanks; MunkeyBarz bikini; MunkeyBarz sexy pajamas; MunkeyBarz vibrator (due March 1); and "Biker Bars" with throttle control coming this summer.
"MunkeyBarz isn't just a belt anymore. MunkeyBarz represents the next level of fun, sexy and unique lifestyle products. Everything you will see this year will be just as fun and unique as the MunkeyBarz belt itself, and we will spend this year catering to the ladies," CEO Mike Beadle, said.
More news includes national TV commercials that will air prior to Valentines day along with a 30-second spot in the southeast prior to and during the March tour of the gulf coast.
The "Go Bananas" tour will run from Feb. 28 through March 28 with stops as in Panama City, Florida as a college spring break official sponsor, Mardi Gras in New Orleans, and Daytona Bike Week.
The tour’s highlights will include guerilla marketing on Bourbon Street, a booth, roaming rights and VIP club perks during spring break, and a booth at Daytona Bike Week. The company noted that the campaign is geared to the mainstream and will not use adult stars on the Spring Break promo tour. A casting call will be held Jan. 25-26 to select the new 2014 Munkey model promo girls.
