LOS ANGELES — XBIZ is pleased to announce adult movie luminaries Jesse Jane and Keiran Lee as the official red-carpet hosts for the industry's awards event of the year, the 2014 XBIZ Awards, presented by Fleshlight, scheduled for Jan. 24 in Century City, Calif.
Both performers are among the biggest stars in adult entertainment today. Jane has spent her entire 11-year career as an exclusive contract girl for Digital Playground, while Lee is Brazzers’ longest-tenured, exclusive performer with more than 1200 sex scenes to his credit in the past six years.
Both have been nominated for XBIZ Performer of the Year honors for the highly anticipated ceremony at the Century Plaza Hotel. The Oklahoma native Jane hosted the XBIZ Awards in February 2011 and is well-established as one of the top red-carpet hosts in the industry.
“When I got the call, it was such an honor that I said ‘yes’ on the spot,” Jane said. “I am so excited to be co-hosting the XBIZ red carpet—it’s going to be so fun! Thank you XBIZ for this opportunity. I’m so grateful!”
A native of Derby, England, Lee is known as the only adult performer in history to have his member insured by Lloyd’s of London for $1 million. He is also steadily building his resume as a director, calling shots for both Brazzers and Digital Playground, which recently released his first feature film, “Hot Chicks Big Fangs.”
“Hosting the red carpet with Jesse Jane is going to be a lot of fun,” Lee said. “We have great chemistry on screen and even more laughs off set. I can foresee some very interesting questions coming from us both that will hopefully make for a naughty, but nice show.”
In addition to being in the running for XBIZ Female Performer of the Year, Jesse Jane has also received nominations for Crossover Star of the Year, Best Actress – Feature (Bridesmaids) and Best Actress - Couples-Themed Release (Love Jesse), as well as a pair of Best Scene awards.
The internationally known host and cover girl also recently surpassed the one-million “likes’ milestone on her official Facebook page.
Lee, meanwhile, is not only in contention for the porn industry’s top male performing honor, but he’s also a finalist for Best Scene in a Vignette Release for his performance with Vanilla DeVille in “Mommy’s Got Boobs 16” (Brazzers).
The former project manager for a railway company in the U.K. enjoyed landmark mainstream exposure in 2011 when he received his own billboard on the Sunset Strip next to the famed Whisky A Go Go in West Hollywood.
The XBIZ Awards ceremony will honor top achievements across every segment of the industry during the past year. Adult film superstar Jenna Jameson will be master of ceremonies for the gala at the historic Century Plaza Hotel.
The ceremony coincides with the industry’s top trade events series of the year, XBIZ 360, which will take over the entire property of the W Hollywood Hotel Jan. 22-25 for an unprecedented lineup of events dedicated to exploring the future of digital adult entertainment, movie production, pleasure products and retail.
