WASHINGTON — The Food and Drug Administration today issued an advisory warning over Alpha Male, a penis pill brand sold on the web and in brick-and-mortar stores.
FDA laboratory analysis confirmed that Alpha Male is mislabeled and contains aminotadalafil, sulfosildenafil, sulfoaildenafil, hydroxythiohomosildenafil, dimethylsildenafil and sildenafil — active ingredients used for both Cialis and Viagra, both controlled and only available by prescription.
Alpha Male is marketed as "100% Natural."
So far, the FDA has issued advisories for at least 44 penis pill brands over mislabeling since the beginning of the year.
