SAN FRANCISCO — BBW adult star Kelly Shibari will address students at San Francisco State University (SFSU) on Nov. 19 as part of the school's Sexuality Fields Event.
Shibari will speak on her experiences working in the field of sexuality for SFSU’s EROS program,
The star said she is the first adult performer to be invited to speak on the panel. Topics will include sex education and body image advocacy, as well as the PR and marketing work she does within the adult industry.
The seminar will take place at the Cesar Chavez Student Center, RM M-109, from 12 noon to 2:30 p.m.
"I'm honored to have been asked by the EROS program to share my experiences in the adult industry with SFSU students," Shibari said. "I'm looking forward to responding to questions about my work outside of performing, namely education, promotions, PR, and marketing."
She added,"There are many sex-positive support industries that exist within the adult entertainment industry which are often overlooked; it's my goal to express how a large number of adult industry jobs go beyond performing in front of a camera. Having a great company, such as Aneros, partner with me for this panel discussion is a perfect example of cross-promotion, and I'm thrilled to have their support."
At the seminar’s conclusion, students will have the opportunity to meet Shibari as she hands out gift packs and raffles off prizes.
