WASSERBILLIG, Luxembourg — The pjur Group celebrated its annual “Adventure Day” through the city of Trier, Germany, the company announced today.
Once a year the company’s staff “leave their desks and telephones” to recharge and explore the wild.
In years past, pjur has gone up rope courses at great heights and down roaring waters in canoes.
This year, the team took a SegWay tour through Germany’s oldest city.
“The company’s employees were able to provide proof of their sense of balance and their driving skills during an initial introduction right by the Porta Nigra, Germany’s best preserved Roman city gate. They then proceeded to ride the modern two-wheelers through narrow streets in the historical city center and over winding trails in the nearby vineyards,” the company said.
Equipped with pjur yellow protective helmets, the troop was equipped even for the bad weather that ensued.
Pjur said the entire event was brought to a “triumphant finale” with a well-deserved dinner.
