LOS ANGELES — Penthouse Entertainment is commemorating the 3rd anniversary of the passing of the company’s founder, Bob Guccione, with an altar at the Hollywood Forever Cemetery. Viewings will be available this Saturday, the Day of the Dead, from noon until midnight.
Penthouse Pets Jenna Rose (Penthouse Pet of the Year, 2012) and Adrianna Luna (Nov. 2012 Pet of the Month) will be present at the event being held to honor Guccione’s life, work and art, the organizers said.
Bob Guccione, who was the founder of Penthouse Magazine, passed away on October 20, 2010, two months before his 80th birthday, at the Plano Specialty Hospital in Plano, Texas. His wife, April, was by his side.
The theme for Hollywood Forever’s 14th annual Dia de Los Muertos celebration this year is “El Magico Mundo de Los Alebrijes” — The Magical World of Alebrijes. Alebrijes are brightly colored Mexican folk art sculptures of fantastical creatures that have become synonymous with the holiday.
