Mr. Skin Parent SK Intertainment to Manage Naked News

CHICAGO — SK Intertainment — the celebrity nudity network behind Mr. Skin and Mr. Man — has announced that it has finalized an agreement to manage the online business operations and marketing of pioneering online multimedia outlet Naked News

Upon its debut in 1999, Naked News went from Internet novelty to pop culture phenomenon — much like Mr. Skin itself.

SK Intertainment’s immediate plans for Naked News include a complete updating and redevelopment of the site’s design, interface and technical aspects, resulting in a relaunch in late November that will result in Naked News being delivered in high-definition for the very first time.

In addition, SK Intertainment is processing new marketing tools for Naked News, and the site will come under the umbrella of Mr. Skin’s affiliate program, MrSkinCash.

“At Mr. Skin, we’ve been fans of Naked News since Day One,” SK Intertainment COO Sam Rakowski said, “so we’re especially excited to leverage our resources and experiences to revitalize a legendary brand that’s an organic fit with our existing businesses. Mr. Skin fans will love Naked News and it’s a natural extension of our affiliate program. So now it’s onward and upward to new naked heights.”

Peter Rosedale, CEO and executive producer of Naked News said, "Our two companies started within a year of each other, and have faced similar challenges through the years.

"We've been friends for a very long time, and have great admiration for one another," Rosedale said. "We couldn't think of a better marriage than one between Naked News and Mr. Skin, and we're looking forward to a long and productive relationship."
