LOS ANGELES — Wicked Pictures has announced the launch of "Flesh for Fantasy: The Underworld Contest."
With this week's release of the movie, Wicked is rewarding its fans for their devotion with a contest that will allow them to utilize their creative skills to compete for prizes.
The guidelines are simple. Fans are invited to familiarize themselves with the various fantasy characters in "Underworld" (like the half-machine “Mecca,” the haunting, red-robed super-vixen “Scarlet,” the acrobatic “gauze girl,” and the sewn-together “Stitch,”) and tweet their own original character concept to @wickedpictures using the hashtag #Underworld.
The tweet can be as simple as "Athena is the mistress of war & wisdom. She is represented with an owl, symbolizing her knowledge. #Underworld."
To stoke fans' creativity, each week Wicked will be releasing character images from the film through social media. Those seeking additional inspiration will be encouraged to visit Gawker Media's FleshbotFiction.com, where an exclusive "Underworld" e-book will be available for free download just in time for Halloween.
Wicked said that a creative contest demands creative prizes, and "Flesh for Fantasy: The Underworld Contest" is no exception. The top character submission will be brought to life by Brad Armstrong and Jessica Drake.
Armstrong will design the character's look, which Drake will model in an exclusive Club magazine pictorial. In addition to seeing their creation brought to life by Wicked and published in Club, the grand prize winner will receive an Amazon Kindle HD, an autographed DVD, autographed "Underworld" posters, and a Brad Armstrong/Jessica Drake Blockbuster pack. The second- and third-place winners will each receive the DVDs and posters.
The contest began Friday and will run through midnight PST, Nov. 30, 2013.
