LOS ANGELES — Former adult film stars can be fired for their past but legally can't do anything about it, Fox News reported in introducing a recent debate on the topic that was part of its "Red Eye" show.
The topic, which came from a recent Salon.com article, centered on porn stars facing "a new form of employment discrimination."
Using adult star Gauge as their example, Fox News said Salon.com reported that Gauge was discriminated against in her post-porn medical job once her colleagues found out she used to do porn.
Gauge studied to be a surgical tech after retiring in 2005. Recently, she returned to porn.
The Fox News panel differed on whether Gauge actually was the victim of discrimination. To see the clip, click here.
