Julia Dimambro Named 'Businesswoman of the Year' at XBIZ Executive Awards

BARCELONA Cherry Media is celebrating after the company’s founder and CEO Julia Dimambro won the Businesswoman of the Year at the XBIZ Executive Awards.

The awards show was held in London on Sept. 24 during XBIZ EU.

The ten honors recognize exceptional decision-makers on a multitude of factors such as overall leadership ability, business acumen, market experience and industry standing.

XBIZ.net members had the opportunity to nominate their peers and role models, who have played integral roles in the creation and success of the adult industry's leading brands.

Presenting the Businesswoman of the year award was XBIZ’s business development director, Kristen Kaye, who commented that Dimambro was "someone to look up to for her approach to mobile adult as a business sector and that businesses would only benefit from working with her."

Dimambro said, “This award was both totally unexpected and a huge honor to receive. Cherry Media has always had an immense amount of respect for the XBIZ network. It’s the biggest and most respected in terms of dealing with important legal, moral and commercial issues surrounding the politically charged business of adult entertainment. The adult industry has been hesitant to adopt the new opportunities that the mobile platform brings, so it’s wonderful to be recognized in this way and we very much look forward to helping businesses on the network adapt their services for the exploding mobile audience. Winning Businesswoman of the Year is doubly rewarding as Cherry Media has just celebrated its 10th birthday, so come on, let’s do business."
