LOS ANGELES — Director Will Ryder has wrapped post-production work on "Grease XXX A Parody" for Adam & Eve Pictures.
The sex musical will debut via video-on-demand on Adam & Eve's website on Oct. 4 with the DVD in stores Oct. 14.
A parody of the famous 1978 movie-musical starring John Travolta and Olivia Newton-John, "Grease XXX" pairs Sandy, a sweet, innocent blond played by Riley Reid with the fast-talking greaser Danny, played by Seth Gamble.
Ryder said, "It is going to give our movie 'Not the Wizard of Oz XXX' a run for it's money that's for sure, but if you liked 'Grease,' you will fall in love with this movie."
Ryder and co-producer Scott David of X-Play said the movie was fast-tracked in cooperation with Adam & Eve.
"I give Adam & Eve Pictures a lot of credit for green-lighting everything we needed to get this movie completed in time to qualify for awards season," David said.
"Having Wit Maverick from Adam & Eve assist us at every turn and also on the set assured us that we would keep this production moving with minimal fist-fighting," Ryder joked.
The supporting cast featured Trinity St. Clair as Frenchy, Kiera King as Rizzo, Brooklyn Chase as Marty, Coco as Jan, Adriana Chechik as Cha Cha, Rebecca Bardoux as Mrs. McGee and Gaia joining the Rydell student body. Richie Calhoun played a gritty Kenickie and was joined by Anthony Rosano as Sonny, Talon as Doody and Chad Diamond as Putzie. Kurt Lockwood stirred things up as the Guardian Angel during a fantasy musical interlude called "Beauty School Slut."
The official "Grease XXX A Parody" movie trailer will debut late next week.
