LOS ANGELES — KEY by JOPEN has won a Sliver Award in the Creativity 43rd Print and Packaging Awards, the company has announced.
Creativity International's annual competition garnered more than 1,100 entries from around the globe.
The packaging design for JOPEN’s KEY range was selected as an example of outstanding creative design.
“It’s such an honor for KEY to be recognized by the international design community for our packaging. On behalf of the entire KEY by JOPEN team, we are very proud,” Susan Colvin, President and CEO of JOPEN, said.
Winning entries were selected for their quality of art, or advertising impact, or both. The KEY packaging boasts the bright, cheerful colors that have become identifiably KEY — raspberry, purple and robin egg blue. The accompanying copy has sayings like: “Hello Gorgeous” and “Lift off in 3, 2, 1…” which JOPEN said gives the brand a cheeky and trendy identity.
The top-opening boxes also feature a satin hang tag so they are versatile at the retail level, meaning they can be placed on a shelf or hung from a hook.
JOPEN said the Creativity International Awards are one of the longest running, independent advertising and graphic design competitions. Open to both students and professionals from around the world, a rotating panel of unbiased advertising and design professionals judges the Awards.
