WEGCash Joins ASACP as Corporate Sponsor

LOS ANGELES — Reaching into its wallet to help stop the spread of child pornography online, WEGCash has signed on as ASACP’s newest corporate sponsor.

WEGCash serves as the affiliate program for Web Entertainment Group. The company has been in the adult industry for more than 11 years and in the adult webmaster community for the past seven. WEGCash’s signature program Join4Free.com launched in 1999.

“WEGCash is proud to actively support the ongoing efforts of ASACP to crack down on child pornography,” WEGCash Director of Marketing Ruth Blair said. “We have watched with great interest as ASACP has consistently dedicated itself to fight this essential battle. Being a prominent adult company, we felt it was time to step up our support with a corporate sponsorship. We strongly encourage every professional in the adult industry to follow suit and climb on board with this very worthwhile organization.”

Joining ASACP is WEGCash’s second big contribution to adult industry causes. The company purchased the sig of Alley Bucks CEO John Paul on adult industry message board GFY.com for $5,000. The money went to the Ray Guhn legal defense fund.

“WEGCash provides a great example of how to look beyond just the short term,” ASACP Executive Director Joan Irvine said. “They’re concerned about protecting kids, they’re concerned about protecting free speech — and by taking responsibility this way, they’re helping protect their business and the adult industry overall.”
