LONDON — Samantha Bentley will attend Sex and Censorship’s anti-censorship meeting to be held during XBIZ EU in London.
Bentley is a U.K.-based performer who has worked for both international and U.K.-based companies such as Evil Angel, Harmony and Killergram among others. She stared with Brooklyn Lee and Ruth Medina Harmony's "Brooklyn Lee: Nymphomaniac."
Bentley was happy to take up Sex and Censorship’s invitation to attend the open meeting in an effort to help defend freedom of expression and sexual freedoms in the face of government censorship.
"Whilst I accept that regulation and restriction has its place in today's society, I do not believe it is the role of the government to dictate the kind of content or information consenting adults can choose to view. Technology has changed and evolved for the better, a far more constructive way to approach protecting children from adult content on the Internet would be to educate their parents on what's accessible and how it can be accessed and then empower them to not only prevent it in their home but to encourage them to discuss openly with their children at the appropriate time."
The Sex and Censorship Rally: Keeping Britain's Internet Uncensored is an open meeting, held during XBIZ EU at the Radisson Edwardian Hotel in Bloomsbury.
The event is free and open to the public and takes place on Monday, Sept. 23, at 7 p.m.
