LOS ANGELES — After three years of laying low, former XXX Lindsay Lohan impersonator Scarlett Fay has returned to the scene swinging — snagging a substantial mainstream role in a “noir” baseball film and resuming boy-girl shoots.
“I definitely think it's time to get back in the saddle,” Fay told XBIZ, reminiscing about the excitement of high-budget features and parodies, like "Hustler’s Untrue Hollywood Stories: Lindsay Lohan” and “Lindsay Goes to Jail,” which shunted her into the mainstream gossip whirlwind of TMZ and E!
Fay’s revamped saddle is varied and extends beyond the sexual: she has signed on to play a supporting role in the partially Kickstarter-funded film “High and Outside: a Baseball Noir” starring Geoffrey Lewis, Eddie Jemison, David Yow and Phil Donlon.
“High and Outside” follows Phil’s (Donlon) fraught quest to become a professional baseball player and “the desperate measures” he takes to achieve the dream. Fay plays Angie, a stripper who she says “doesn't exactly have it all together” and influences Phil for the worse.
Fay said, “I was just happy to be a part of this movie, but the best part is knowing that I won't be the porn star in the background playing a stripper. I have plenty of dialogue and I really am a big part of the movie. [Director Evald Johnson] actually put a scene together for me and Geoffrey Lewis. I was incredibly nervous — Geoffrey is a Hollywood legend.”
The film, based on Johnson’s actual experience as the son of Major Leaguer Tim Johnson, raised $47,386 on Kickstarter (it’s goal was $45,000). The remainder of the budget was supplied by the filmmakers.
But Fay maintains that she “loves this industry” and isn’t about to leave it for Hollywood: Fans of the other kind of saddle-riding can see Fay in Hustler’s upcoming “This Ain’t Game of Thrones XXX,” for which she recently shot her first post boy-girl-hiatus scene with Ryan Driller who she said was “an absolute doll to work with.” The erotic parody is slated to release in early 2014.
Outside of acting, erotic and otherwise, Fay said she is in talks with publishers about potentially publishing a comedic book about her experiences working as a stripper.
In addition to her notorious Li-Loh performances, Fay has had a rich adult career, and has appeared on PlayboyTV’s "BadAss" seasons 1 and 2, co- hosted for Playboy’s "Beach House" and has starred in films for companies such as Wicked, Vivid and Hustler.
Fay is currently a free agent and has been booking her own projects for the last three years. For bookings and other inquiries, contact her directly at ScarlettFayBookings@gmail.com.
