NEW YORK — The New York Academy of Sex Education (NYASE) will host a range of classes in the fall taught by sex educators from across the nation.
The academy is a new venue for learning, inviting individuals of every experience level, orientation, gender, body type, singles, couples and all. The only requirement is that students be no less than 18 years of age.
Ducky DooLittle, the academy’s education coordinator and lead sex educator, has spent the last two decades working in the field of sexuality. She is an author, sex educator and a certified emergency room sexual assault and violence intervention counselor. DooLittle has been instrumental in building public sex education learning programs for NYC’s Museum of Sex and the feminist adult shop Babeland. She presents internationally at conferences, universities and community centers around the world.
“Workshop topics vary,” DooLittle said. “I believe the teachers we have brought together will deliver solid, factual classes with some titillating and subversive twists. What we do at the academy is deliver learning experiences. We get your brain and heart thumping. We reaffirm what you know, give you fresh ideas, loads of inspiration and then we send you off with an eagerness to explore what you have learned. The homework we give you will leave you tickled.”
This fall features classes that vary from bondage, oral sex, female orgasms, maintaining long term relationship, issues of sex drive, creative writing classes, body image, talking with your kids about sex, lap dance classes, sex for survivors and more.
