HAUPPAUGE, N.Y. — Magic Silk will host its first-ever New York City fashion show for its Exposed catalog on Sept. 17 at the Skyroom of the Fairfield Inn and Suites by Marriott.
Jeff Baker, Magic Silk’s president, said he sees the show as the next logical step in the company’s evolution.
“We make the sexiest, highest quality outfits in the intimate apparel industry, and this is the perfect venue to showcase them,” Baker said.
The Sky Room offers a 360-degree view of Manhattan from the city’s highest rooftop lounge. Its panoramic glass walls and retractable glass roof overlook Times Square.
The evening will begin with a reception at 8:30 p.m. The show itself will start at 9:30 p.m., with provocative styles from the Exposed catalog, including Club Seamless, Neon Lace, Liquid Onyx, Party Girl, Hypnotic Swirl, Midnight Bound, Bands of Lace, Champagne Lace, Satin Treasure, Fishnet and Black Widow.
Hillary Flowers is producing the show, with media coverage by lingerie newsletter and website McPete Sez. The event is open to the public, and admission is free with no cover change.
