Homegrown Video Launches Video Retail Display Contest

LOS ANGELES — Homegrown Video announced the launch of its new Homegrown Video Retail Display Contest.

Set to run through Sept. 30, the promotion offers retailers an opportunity to win a variety of prizes while boosting revenue and consumer awareness.

“Creating an attractive and inspired floor display promoting Homegrown Video is a wonderful way to spark dialogue between consumer and retailer,” Homegrown Video CEO Spike Goldberg said. “Providing retail support and opportunities for consumer education through exciting retail and marketing promotions is key to our success.”

Retailers are encouraged to enter the contest by creating a fun and eye-catching Homegrown Video rack, display or section, showcasing Homegrown Video’s brand of amateur porn. Photos of the display must then be submitted to press@homegrownvideo.com.

“Retail contests have proven to be an extremely effective way of engaging customers while they browse stores — the larger and sexier the display, the more likely it will grab consumers and voters’ attention,” said Robert Plarski, executive vice president of sales for Pulse Distribution, the exclusive distributor of Homegrown Video on DVD. “The contest is also a fun way to educate store employees about the products they sell.”

Display pictures will be posted on Homegrown Video’s Facebook page through Oct. 14, when the three most “liked” entries will be chosen as the contest winners.

Homegrown Video requests that displays remain intact until the end of the fan-voting period on Oct. 14.  After the initial entry has been submitted, an additional photo of the display will be required each week, indicating the current date.

To be eligible to participate in Homegrown Video’s Retail Display Contest, contestants must be owners of a retail store licensed to sell and currently carrying Homegrown Video’s various amateur adult series and DVDs.

For more information, contact Robert Plarski at rplarski@pulsedistribution.com or (818) 435-1605 to place an order.
