LOS ANGELES — Jack Black has joined the cast of upcoming comedic flick “Sex Tape” starring Cameron Diaz and Jason Segel.
He will make a cameo appearance as the CEO of a major porn company, TheWrap reported today.
“Sex Tape” spoofs the dilemma that has plagued the likes of Paris Hilton, Kim Kardashian and Farrah Abraham in some form or another.Diaz and Segel play a married couple who decide to “spice things up” in the bedroom by shooting a homemade porno. Everything seems well and spicey until the couple can’t find the tape upon waking the next morning …
Rob Corddry co-stars as Diaz’s and Segel’s friend, who supports them in their time of need.
If the film prevails as an instance of “art mimicking life,” Black will be trying to buy the tape to market it as a DVD release. .
Black, known for voicing the lead panda in Dreamworks’ animated franchise “Kung Fu Panda” and general funnyman antics, recently worked with Segel on “Gulliver’s Travels.”
Production for Sony Picture's "Sex Tape" is expected to begin in the fall and is slated to release in 2014.
