The deal comes on the heels of an announcement earlier this month that three Playboy channels would be dropped from DirecTV Group Inc.
Playboy currently provides Playboy TV and one additional channel through its existing agreement with the DISH Network, which reaches 12 million customers.
With the deal, the company's Playboy and Spice units will receive a share of the revenue received by transponder encryption from DISH Network customers who purchase the programming.
Playboy's expanded DISH Network service is scheduled to start in October.
Playboy did not return calls for comment to XBIZ late Tuesday.
