Blue, who is the CEO of Platinum Blue, will appear on the series in early 2007.
According to Linton, who created the series, viewers will get an unprecedented look at lesbian sexuality through a lens that celebrates the subject.
The series gathers insights from writers, academics and so-called “sexperts” by visiting sex shops, erotic dance clubs and porn companies.
"Some of the women that have been interviewed for portions of this program, including myself, are focused on what I believe to be delivering content to a hip new audience of unabashedly, sexually liberated women," Blue said.
According to Blue, Linton helped her to feel comfortable with the interview process, which in turn allowed her to talk about real-life experiences from coming out at the age of 14, to life during the AIDS crisis of the 1980s.
“We are excited to offer this uncensored, informative series to the here! audience," here! network Vice President Meredith Kadlec said. "We are committed to offering our viewers innovative fare that takes the time to examine aspects of their lives in an honest way."
While the focus of the series will be lesbian sexuality, Blue said she believes viewers will learn a great deal about the human sexual experience, a topic she plans to discuss in her upcoming book.
"Although most of my deepest relationships have been with women, my perception of human sexuality is not gender-biased,” Blue said. “Titles that I produce allow me to explore the edge of female sexuality, lesbian sexuality and hetero sexuality, which may be why my work is so well received by a variety of audiences.”
