Lucas, a Russian Jew who owns Lucas Entertainment, told XBIZ that Israel is a paradise to him and holds a special place in his heart.
“I wanted to go there because of the situation that’s going on there now,” Lucas said. “It’s very important for me to support Israel because of my Jewish background, but also because it is the only liberal country in the region.”
Lucas, who will perform a live sex show at the Vox club in Tel Aviv, said he hopes to make the show available free for all service members.
“We’re still trying to figure out the details for the soldiers who want to see the show,” Lucas said. “I want it to be free for anyone in the military, but everyone — gay and straight — serves in the army.”
In the meantime, Lucas hopes to use the trip as a chance to shoot content, both adult and mainstream.
“Hopefully, I’ll be shooting an adult film there, but I will definitely be shooting a documentary,” Lucas said. “I want to focus on gays in Israel because it’s a very big community that is welcomed into society, but people don’t report on it a lot.”
Lucas said he hopes to bring his finished documentary to HBO films.
“People need to see the faces of war, and I plan to shed light on the world where gay Israel exists," Lucas said. "I will expose the reality that the people of Israel face right now, especially that of gay Israelis who are targeted by the hate of Hezbollah."
