LAS VEGAS — Fashion designer Mina Kahn spearheads an evening of high fashion philanthropy to benefit Action Red, a volunteer Peer Health Navigator Organization. Pin-Up Rendezvous: An Evening Dedicated to the Art of Pin-Up is a tribute which will feature the couture of Kahn on the catwalk, exhibited by national pin-up models, along with DJ's Lucky LaRue and Cyril Noir.
Mina's style will be accentuated by a selection of classic cars from Mutt N Jeff's Garage, a 1950's themed photo booth, and a burlesque style performances by Darby Fox, Ivana Blaze, Heather Herman, Lou Lou Roxy and Ella Mental.
The evening will be held at 7 p.m. on June 28 at Pin-Up Pointe Art Gallery located at 4 East Charleston in the heart of the Arts District.
Their ultimate goal is to improve the lives of disenfranchised individuals living with HIV/AIDS, to assist them in overcoming their barriers in obtaining health care, help them to navigate and stay engaged in the health care system, decrease stigma surrounding those with HIV/AIDS, and create awareness about HIV prevention and the positive contributions made by people living with HIV.
