The union between the adult industry icon and rock star was first reported by celebrity blogger Perez Hilton, and now national media outlets have picked up the coverage. Prior to her marriage to Jay Grdina, Jameson has been linked to Marilyn Manson and Tommy Lee.
Star Magazine has confirmed that a publicist for Jameson, who recently sold her ClubJenna production company to Playboy, has indeed split with Grdina and is dating Navarro. The pair co-hosted the Erotica L.A. show at the Los Angeles Convention Center in June.
The Santa Monica, Calif.-born Navarro is a famous guitarist who currently plays in The Panic Channel, which has just recently finished recording its debut album. Navarro also plays in the rock cover band, Camp Freddy. Navarro was a founding member of Jane’s Addiction and played with the Red Hot Chili Peppers in 1993, cutting one album with the band. He recently announced a split with his third-wife, actress and model Carmen Electra.
“It is true that they are dating,” Jameson’s publicist Sarah Perkins told Star Magazine. “She and her husband [and business partner Jay Grdina] split recently. They are separated and it’s amicable. They were introduced originally through Neil Strauss, who was Jenna’s co-writer on her [2004] book [How to Make Love Like a Porn Star: A Cautionary Tale]. They met again in June at Erotica L.A.”
Navarro had his autobiography “Don’t Try This At Home: A Year In The Life of Dave Navarro” co-authored by Neil Strauss as well.
Grdina will continue to function as ClubJenna’s president, and both Jameson and Grdina recently signed personal service agreements with Playboy.
The breakup comes at a bad time for Grdina.
Scottsdale police were investigating Grdina for an alleged assault he committed against one of the dancers at Babe’s Cabaret, a gentlemen’s club that is co-owned by Grdina and Jameson. The Arizona Republic reported that the assault accusations against Grdina have been dropped in light of the dancer's refusal to press charges.
