Falcon/Raging Stallion Employees Bike From L.A. to S.F to Fight AIDS

SAN FRANCISCO — Falcon/Raging Stallion employees Adam Q. Robinson, Mike Sijacic and Brandon Jensen joined thousands of other participants on June 2 for AIDS/LifeCycle, a seven-day, 545-mile bike ride from San Francisco to Los Angeles to help fight AIDS.

They raised a combined total of more than $21,000. Part of funds they raised was a contribution of $1,500 from Falcon/Raging Stallion Studios — 50 percent of the profits from the studio’s AIDS/LifeCycle Scene sale.

“We are so proud of Adam, Brandon and Mike for all their fundraising efforts and the time and energy they put into the ride,” Falcon/Raging Stallion President Chris Ward said. “With a cause that is close to our employees’ and customers’ hearts, we are tremendously happy that the sale was a success and we could donate the proceeds to AIDS/LifeCycle.”

Since the event was founded as California AIDS Ride in 1993, cyclists have ridden 20 million miles to help raise money for AIDS research and provide services for those infected with the virus. Each cyclist participating raises an average of $4,500, an AIDS/LifeCycle representative said.

“This contribution pushed us over our goals and will be spent by AIDS/LifeCycle helping people in need,” Robinson said. “We want to take this opportunity to send gratitude and appreciation to all the fans who responded to our sale and everyone who contributed on our donation pages.”

The L.A. Gay & Lesbian Center and San Francisco AIDS Foundation, which are the beneficiaries and producers of AIDS/LifeCycle, deliver community programs and services for HIV education, prevention, testing, and care.
