LOS ANGELES — Consumers who wanted to register for Forno TV will no longer need to use a credit card as proof of age.
The company said it has made improvements to its registration processes, where users now have the option to register for Forno with a debit card.
They have to provide some more information to get through the strict age verification process, but the credit card barrier has been removed.
"We're delighted to be able to make registration easier for our global customers," Forno's marketing director said. "We have received many emails about debit card registration, so we're delighted to make this a reality."
At the moment debit card registration is only available via Forno.tv but the company is looking to extend this to TVs in the near future.
Forno TV provides the adult content on Smart TVs and connected devices.
