LOS ANGELES — Director Brad Armstrong is preparing to shoot his next big feature for Wicked Pictures, a surreal fanasy-themed title called "Underworld" starring Wicked Girl Jessica Drake.
Principal photography is scheduled for the first two weeks of June with Drake playing the lead role of Tanya, a young woman whose hospital stay is interrupted when she awakens to find herself in a wonderland where destiny and desire collide. She soon learns that this “underworld” is a purgatory of sorts, a land between life and death where “souls come to learn their fate.”
This revelation sets the stage for sexual encounters with original characters such as the half-machine “Mecca,” the haunting, red-robed super-vixen Scarlet, an ethereal and acrobatic “gauze girl,” the sexy and sewn-together Stitch, various and sundry warriors, barbarian queens and more.
The supporting cast includes Asa Akira, Asphixia Noir, Toni Ribas, Mick Blue and Derrick Pierce.
“'Underworld' is one of the most challenging films I’ve ever undertaken," said Armstrong, who directed the 2011 XBIZ Award-winning Best Feature "Speed" and has helmed dozens of other feature films.
Drake remarked that Armstrong is her favorite director to work for.
"I know that I can count on him to bring out the very best in everyone on this project," Drake said. "In 'Underworld,' my character Tanya is suddenly in a life-threatening situation, and finds herself thrust into a different world that she tries to navigate as her sexuality wrestles with her subconscious.
"I have five scenes in this movie, and I’ll be working with the very best in the business, pushing the envelope once again in terms of my own sexual boundaries, which means the hottest sex for the viewers. One of my favorite things about being a Wicked girl is being able to act out my ever-changing fantasies on screen for my fans, and I can’t wait to begin shooting in a few days."
