VividAlt.com proudly proclaims in its “Mission” section that it “sells you nothing,” adding that “we just want you to know who we are.”
The site features trailers of new films, photos of Vivid-Alt’s “non-porn” stars and blogs from alt porn genre directors.
The Vivid-Alt label, which opened operations this year, is a partnership between Vivid and Eon McKai Productions. McKai helms a roster of alt directors that include Dave Naz, who directed “Skater Girl Fever” and Octavio Winkytiki, who directed the inaugural Vivid-Alt film “The Rebelle Rousers.”
“Skater Girl Fever” is scheduled to be released later this month. “The Rebelle Rousers” is already available. Trailers for both films appear on the new site.
Other directors profiled on the site include Vena Virago and Malachi Ecks.
Vivid-Alt performers Pixie Pearl, Riley Mason and Charlotte Stokley all have photo albums on the site.
The site also makes available links to MySpace profiles of some of the Vivid-Alt performers and directors to further spread the company name through the popular social networking site.
To help promote the new site, and by extension the new brand, Vivid-Alt has joined forces with Fleshbot to offer fans of the genre a chance to win a role in an upcoming Vivid-Alt movie. The prize package also includes airfare from anywhere in the U.S., a two-night stay in L.A. and a “spumoni” date with Vivid-Alt actress Dana De Armond.
