CHATSWORTH, Calif. — Lesbian production company Filly Films has launched a new sister studio, Honest Babe.
“This is a big deal for our company,” said Rebekah Nazarian, general manager at Filly Films and Combat Zone. “It's another step in the feminist direction.”
Honest Babe is spearheaded by self-proclaimed “pussy-powered duo,” Nazarian and Rhonda Ovalman. The studio’s first title “Four Rooms” will be released next month.
“Four Rooms” also happens to be Nazarian’s directorial debut, under the nom-de-plume FoochieLa Bootz. She told XBIZ she was given “full control” of the upcoming film to realize her cinematic, feminist vision.
Bootz and co-director Ovalman’s “Four Rooms” chronicles the sexcapades of four parallel relationships, taking place in four adjacent hotel rooms in Los Angeles.
“Something about hotel rooms just makes me so horny,” the trailer’s voiceover dreamily trails on. “You can just feel the energy of everyone who’s had sex.”
The film stars Kiara Diane, Marie McCray, Ana Foxxx, Tessa Lane, Rilee Marks, Alice March, Charlotte Stokely and Natasha Malkova.
