NEW DELHI — India’s first full-length hardcore animated porn film, the “Sativa Bhabhi Movie,” will be released on May 4.
Although distribution of porn is illegal in India, fans can still possess and watch adult material that makes the public announcement of the film a watershed moment in Indian pop culture.
Initially banned in 2010, the Bhabhi cartoon was wildly popular with 36 story lines that had a popular underground run and even a backlash “Save Sativa” movement.
Created by an artist known as Deshmukh (who according to Bollywoodlife.com is British citizen Puneet Agarwal), the film follows the adventures of Bhabhi, a sex-charged bored housewife whose adventures can be found on the “Indian Porn Toons” pay site Kirtu.com.
A NSFW tralier and more information about the new film can be found at SavitaBhabhiMovie.com.
The humorous film reportedly deals with Internet censorship in the year 2070 with Bhabhi as the heroine who saves the day by using her sexual charms.
Users will be able to download the film for $24.95 for a limited time. The price then rises to $30.
The creators said, "The first ever 'Savita Bhabhi Movie' is a roller coaster ride through different dimensions, sexual situations and plans to bring down the bad guys. Our Bhabhi who for years had always found herself in precarious situation finds herself in her most exciting adventure yet.”
According to early reviews, the cartoon offers plot twists, surprises and plenty of sex.
