HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Director Will Ryder has wrapped principle production on his latest parody “ Love Boat XXX” for Adam & Eve Pictures.
Ryder said the film promises to deliver an equal dose of sexuality and humor that is a perfect companion to the original 1978 television show.
Shot on a private commercial studio somewhere near Las Vegas, the movie has the look and feel of an early episode of the Aaron Spelling sitcom that was a mainstay on ABC TV during the late ‘70’s and early ‘80’s.
“I’d like to think that if the great Mr. Spelling were alive he would smile and give us all an approving wink,” Ryder said. “But then again when one of the naked female passengers performs oral sex on Gopher that might end that fantasy right there.”
Shot over three days including scenes on board the Carnival Cruise Lines, the movie is now in post-production that will include special effects, plus original music sessions to capture the musical stylings of the waning disco era.
The ensemble cast stars Sunny Lane as Julie, the ship’s cruise director along with . Penny Pax, Jessa Rhodes, Capri Cavanni, Kendall Karson, Gia Grace, Liv Aguilera, Nikki Chase, Selma Sins, Nikki Daniels and Lucky Star. Male talent on board includes Steve Nelson, Kurt Lockwood, Tyler Nixon, Tee Reel, Seth Gamble, James Bartholet, Kevin Wang and a special guest appearance by Ron Jeremy.
Casting was completed by X-Play's Scott David and Ryder, along with Rachel at Adam & Eve Pictures.
“I truly believe this will be one of the greatest adult movie parodies ever,” Ryder added. “I’ve said that before but I mean it this time."
A release date for the film has not yet been announced.
