LOS ANGELES — Director Axel Braun has released the YouTube safe-for-work trailer for his new Vivid SuperHeroes imprint film “Iron Man XXX: An Axel Braun Parody.”
Braun said the clip clearly showcases the quality of the action-packed adult spoof on the tale of billionaire philanthropist Tony Stark (played by Dale DaBone) and his armored alter-ego.
The film's cast also includes Lexi Belle, Brooklyn Lee, Derrick Pierece, Shazia Sahari, Dana DeArmond, Jazy Berlin, Skin Diamond, and Lexington Steele reprising his role as S.H.I.E.L.D. director Nick Fury.
Viewers also get a glimpse of the visual effects and costumes designed for the adult parody, as well as a brief look at Braun’s super-villain of choice: The Mandarin.
“As a huge comic book fan I absolutely loved Jon Favreau’s take on Iron Man in his 2008 movie, yet I was disappointed by his choice of villain,” Braun said. “To me, the quintessential Iron Man nemesis is The Mandarin.”
The parody starts out as an origin story, but then takes a drastically more explicit entertaining turn, according to the producers. “When Tony Stark is kidnapped and forced to build a deadly weapon, he instead uses his intelligence to fabricate an indestructible armor and escape his captors. Once free, he must fight the evil Mandarin, save the world, and get laid. Not necessarily in that order.”
“Axel has crafted another exceptional movie,” Steven Hirsch, CEO of Vivid Entertainment said. “His commitment to the level of quality that he established for our Vivid SuperHeroes imprint is evident once again, and he keeps proving over and over that he’s the best director in the business.”
The movie will be available online and on DVD in May.
