Sportsheets Reports Record Sales, Growth Milestones

HUNTINGTON BEACH, Calif. — Sportsheets has reported record sales and growth in its fiscal year 2012-2013 following product debuts throughout the year.

The company said Sportsheets Premium revenue has grown more than 30 percent, and Sex & Mischief has seen gains of more than 230 percent in only one year.

In honor of the achievements, the Sportsheets management team hosted a company-wide celebration to thank all who have supported the company throughout its 20 years of business that included a surprise company luncheon last week.

“It’s so special to have hit this monumental sales milestone during our 20th anniversary year,” Sportsheets founder and CEO Tom Stewart said. “Congratulations to everyone involved, and thank you to our retail and distributor supporters who’ve helped us reach this unexpected and amazing goal.”

Sportsheets also gave credit to its latest product lines that it said are the result of dedicated research and development and a genuine desire to give customers what they want.

“We inspired an incredible product trend with the Under the Bed Restraint System so many years ago, and our trailblazing Sex & Mischief collection has sparked soft BDSM as the industry’s hottest new movement,” Sportsheets President Julie Stewart said. “Our sales numbers have exceeded all expectations, and we want to thank our customers and retail supporters as well as the hard work of our colleagues to broaden society’s healthy acceptance of bondage in the bedroom.”

Customer service specialist Emily Silva said she is especially proud to be part of such a close-knit and passionate team.

“I’m so excited to be part of such a huge Sportsheets milestone,” Silva said. “Tom and Julie even surprised us with a generous bonus to celebrate the monumental occasion. It’s truly amazing to be part of the Sportsheets team and we can’t wait to introduce even more fun tools, toys and techniques designed for 'keeping couples connected.'”

The company’s 2013 sales year spiked after the release of Sex & Mischief Collection couples fantasy kits, a Valentine’s Day showcase on the “Rachael Ray Show” with TV personality Kendra Wilkinson, and the official debut of Sportsheets Premium with new upscale packaging and erotic story introducing each product in a starring role.
