The focus of Stephen’s World will be on the needs of working webmasters, content producers and others involved in online adult entertainment.
“I’ll share some of my favorite tips, tricks, tools and techniques, as well as highlight some of the latest technologies to hit the scene,” Yagielowicz said in his opening statement.
Stephen’s World complements XBIZ’s other daily blog, Gram Ponante, which spotlights some of the gossip, video releases and goings-on in the adult world.
"Stephen is what I consider a true adult webmaster,” said Alec Helmy, president of XBIZ and publisher of XBIZ World and XBIZ Video magazines. “He’s someone who got started in the biz as an adult webmaster and continues to operate his own websites. Stephen looks at the world from an adult webmaster's point of view, which means that this blog will be a fun read for XBIZ.com's primary demographic. This also will be a great outlet for Stephen to express himself and vent every once in a while. ;-)"
The first installment of Stephen’s World features ASACP’s ongoing Town Hall meeting on a proposed self-labeling system for the online adult industry, and mention of the recent launch of an open source directory that helps developers find and evaluate open-source projects.
“Whether it’s a useful snippet of code, a new traffic-building strategy, a review of the latest camera to catch my eye, or an opinion on a matter of import to the industry, you can be assured that I’ll let you know about it, in as an informative and entertaining way as possible,” he said.
Yagielowicz welcomes feedback from webmasters on topics they would like to see addressed on his blog. Comments can be emailed to: stephen@xbiz.com.
